Catalytic Convertors

A catalytic converter is positioned in the exhaust system, typically between the engine and the muffler. Its strategic location allows it to treat exhaust gases, converting toxic emissions into less harmful substances through chemical reactions before releasing them into the atmosphere.

The device features a core composed of ceramic honeycomb structures coated with precious metals: platinum, palladium, and rhodium. These metals act as catalysts, speeding up chemical reactions without being consumed in the process.
